Easter is a big problem to a lot of people. If you don't believe Jesus
is the Son of God and don't want to take the Christian faith seriously,
then the resurrection is a big problem for you. If you read 1
Corinthians 15, you discover that the Christian faith stands or falls
with the truly of the resurrecting of Christ.
When Jesus arose, the Roman soldiers and the chief priests had a big
problem. They couldn't afford to have ideas about a resurrecting
getting out. It would ruin everything for them. So they devised a plan.

The plan involved a bribe(a large sum of money) a lie (His disciples came during the night and stole him away) advocacy (if this report gets to the governor, we will keep you out of trouble" and public acceptance (this story has been widely circulated). It was a sinister plot to cover up Easter.
That surely wasn't the last time Jesus' enemies tried to do that. There are many theories that claim Jesus did not really rise from the dead. Can you identify some of those false theories that are promoted today to cover up the real meaning of Easter?
Christian friends, Don't let any such ideas surprise or frighten you. The enemy of Christ wants nothing more than to disprove the resurrection. No wonder. It's because Jesus really did conquer death. He is King.
Thou art the Life, the empty tomb
Proclaims Thy conquering arm;
And those who put their trust in Thee
No death, nor hell shall harm.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY - Christ has made death but a starlit strip between the companionship of yesterday, and the reunions of tomorrow.
"CHRIST IS RISEN, HE IS RISEN INDEED"
