"Now glory be to God! By His mighty power at work within us,
He is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope."
Ephesians 3:20 (NLT)

Sunday was Dedication Day for our new building at the church where my family has been a member for many years. Over seven years ago the church voted to relocate from their downtown location they had occupied for more than half a century.

Sunday was Dedication Day for our new building at the church where my family has been a member for many years. Over seven years ago the church voted to relocate from their downtown location they had occupied for more than half a century.

"This has truly been a miracle of God," chairman of the Building Committee shared with an overflow congregation the first Sunday. Eighty-six year-old Mavrick Cook, a member of the church since 1931, told the happy congregation, "God has led all the way."

Former staff members returned to direct the music and play the organ. Dr. Rodney Reeves, who was our pastor when the building program began, challenged us to never forget, "?It?s all about HIM."

The new building was raised up when there were many months without a pastor. Yet, God revealed His mighty power during the long process through the question, "Is anything to hard for me?"

Today, many of us face uphill decisions in our life. It seems there is a long, hard road ahead of us. But, if we know we are being obedient, God can keep us moving with the same question," Is anything to hard for me?" Plunge into the very areas God is calling you to do. Soon, you, too, can be repeating the words we have chosen as the cornerstone of our new building.

We find they express the view of the body of the church. Equally, these words can mean the same to you:

"Now glory be to God! By His mighty power at work within us, He is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope. May He be given glory in the church and in Christ Jesus forever and ever through endless ages. Amen.
