Cassie Bernall's Life for Christ

By now most everyone has heard of the April 20th, 1999 massacre in Denver, CO.

Emerging from this tragedy was a phenomenal story of one student, Cassie Bernall, who was one among the 13 shot and killed by teen gunmen.  In the days immediately following Cassie's murder, the taking of her life was linked to her faith in Jesus Christ.

However, soon after it was reported that in the ensuing police investigation into the events of the Columbine Massacre, authorities could not find any evidence that Cassie was killed, martyred, for her faith.

Even later, there is still an argument that she did indeed make the confession she was first reported to have made. A compelling argument for this may be read at www.family.org/fofmag/pf/a0017462.html

Even though Cassie Bernall's tragic death may not have been the result of her faith in Jesus Christ, the story of Cassie Bernall's faith in life is still a remarkable one that you can read in the biography of her life "She Said Yes."
