Oh Look, Chicken Thursday!

How an SSD Drive WorksI want to give a shoutout to Cybersaltine G. Keeler whom I had the pleasure of meeting over Zoom yesterday. He and I talked a bit of shop about a website project he is planning.

Speaking about tech things, today's video share is an interesting look at how SSDs work. An SSD (or Solid State Drive) is a computer hard drive without any moving parts. It is much faster than mechanical drives, which I like to refer to as "spinny drives" because they have metal disks spinning inside of them. A word of warning, don't watch this video if you are operating heavy machinery because I almost ended up napping the first time I watched it. It was a lot for my brain to take in!
