20th anniversarySunday greetings everyone!

I've been so busy hanging wallpaper with my one arm that I totally forgot that this past Friday, September 28th, was the 20th Anniversary of Cybersalt!

Some day I hope to tell the whole story of how Cybersalt came to be, but for now let me simply say how thankful I am to God and you all for the many different blessings that Cybersalt has been to me and my family down through the years. What semi-started out as a joke list for my family - as an experiment with a list sending website in order to see if it would be a tool for ministry use - has shifted and morphed into things I could never imagine.

The most recent, and perhaps greatest, shift is that Cybersalt has become key to Mrs. Cybersalt's and my work with refugees and persecuted Christians. Most of you are already aware of the Be a Billionaire fund raiser that has been helping some who have found themselves in between and rock and rock (without even the comfort of a hard place). That very stretching idea came from list member Mark Robinson and you can still participate in it at www.cybersalt.org/inspiration/be-a-billionaire-fund-raiser. Recently, Mark suggested there might some interested in helping on a monthly basis. I'd like to know what you think about that idea? Drop an email to [email protected] and let me know. After all, why should Mark get all the fun stretching me, lol!

In the meantime, thank you again for being a part of the wonderful mystery that is this part of my life.

And as usual, today on the Cybersalt site there is a new devotional commentary by Rev. James Snyder. I am guessing that this week he was dressed for the South Pole, not the prayer pole he was standing at. You can read, "If This Is Autumn, What Was Summer?" at:

Enjoy the rest of today's mailing!
