Billy Broughton

Billy Broughton is the owner of SOS Automotive and drove the #73 car in 2000.

So how was he a crew member? Well first there were lots of Thursday nights and Friday mornings at his shop. Then there was the number of times he was helping out at the track and loaning me guys from his crew. Oh yes, then there was the copious numbers of tires he brought out to share at the track.

Thanks Bill and sorry again about the computer . . . . and the fridge too.

John Rombough

John is the guy who first helped me go racing in 1999. John was a real trooper in 2000. Not a late night person at all, he was there at the track until everything was loaded up and it was time to head out.

A true gentleman, John was there helping me get strapped into the car, get out of the car, and deal with those mechanical things that happen to every race team.

Thanks John for your solid help through everything that was going on in life away from the track in 2000.

Woody Woodruff

My good friend Woody has raced for a number of years at Western Speedway - starting out in claimers. In his rookie stock car season (2000), Woody finished 9th overall.

Woody's experience and help has been invaluable in many ways. In the 2000 season, he was my back-up driver as well. Not only did he drive the car for me while I was on vacation, but he also helped set it up (it was a roach of a car when I claimed it) and swap a motor.

he drives like a madman." - 2 Kings 9:20
