"For you are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them."
- 2 Cor. 6:11-18

There was a lady who was asked who was the most honored guest she had ever entertained in your home. She answered "The Queen." Oh the Queen, what about this Jesus you've been taking about, isn't He your most honored guest?" She answered, "No, indeed, He's not a guest. HE LIVES HERE!

We should therefore conduct ourselves so that He will always feel at home in our hearts. A hymnwriter wrote:

With longing all my heart is filled
That like Him I may be,
As on the wondrous thought I dwell,
That Christ liveth in me.
I must never think of the Savior as a transient guest in my life. Others should see by my words and deeds that He is a PERMANENT resident in my heart.

As lives the flower within the seed,
As in the cone the tree,
So, praise the God of truth and grace,
His Spirit dwelleth in me.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY - The Christian's heart is the Holy Spirit's home.
