Oh look, Chicken Thursday - and welcome to October!

General Lee Charger jump at a Moncton stunt showOne of the interesting side effects of having time away from work is that when you come back, you have a lot of work that takes your time away. But I'm slowly catching up here at Cybersalt World Headquarters and working on some new routines. I'm grateful that artificial intelligence is helping me manage the load quite effectively.

Today's video share comes from a stunt show in Moncton, where a General Lee tribute 1969 Dodge Charger takes a run at a jump. The fellow who posted it called it "How to pancake a 1969 Charger" — which tells you most of what you need to know.

When I first watched this video, I was pretty upset that they were wrecking another Dodge Charger, because there are fewer and fewer of those around. Then I learned from the comments that these are actually newer Crown Vics, former police cars I suspect, with panels welded on to make them look like a Charger. So after all of that, I think I probably feel a lot better than the guy in the car.

I also learned that instead of sitting in a seat, the driver is in some kind of "basket" that's suspended so he doesn't wreck his back. Still not a ride I'd want to take.
