Sunday greetings everyone!
Grandma Cybersalt and I voted in yesterday's provincial election here in British Columbia. There have been a whole lot of elections happening up here in our neck of the woods. Last Saturday was the municipal elections for our province, where we voted for mayors, city councillors and school trustees. And last week was also the separation referendum in the province of Alberta. Even though that's not our province, their referendum was of great importance for all of Canada.
Winston Churchill once told the British Parliament, "It has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time." I must say that I am grateful for the opportunity to vote. Speaking for myself, it's a great feeling to have the ability to cast a vote for the leaders you would like to have. And if you can't do that, I must admit it's somewhat rewarding to cast a vote in order to punish a leader you don't want to have.
Listening to the choir in today's video share is a heavenly experience. If I didn't know better, I'd say maybe they were angels singing all along the stairway to heaven. And if that were the case, this video would be a great argument that there are lots of balconies along the way.
