Sunday greetings everyone!
Grandma Cybersalt and I have been slowly adding things to our garden — plants, knickknacks, and decorations — ever since we converted our front lawn into a turnaround area for cars with a garden around it. For three or four months now I've been looking for something that would work as a bird bath that could sit on top of that decorative concrete pillar we have.
This week I finally found something that spoke to me. A big huge orange frying pan that I got for four dollars at the thrift store. Those of you who know me know that my favorite color is orange. When I saw it, I thought it would just be so funny to see birds hopping in and out of a frying pan.
I need to attach some rubber underneath it so that it doesn't spin or move around when avian visitors land or take off. When I get a picture of a bird in it, I'll share it here. And if you think that's a really strange choice, I want to thank you. That's part of the reason why I did it.
Today's video share is an interesting reminder that nothing is forever. Even five hundred year old arches have a season.
