Oh look, Chicken Thursday!

Around here at Cybersalt World Headquarters, we've been having incredible fall weather. I'm sure it's partly because of El Niño, but we've had clear skies and the sun has been very warm. I had a nice time sitting on my deck drinking some tea after a heavy duty meeting with someone, and then just enjoyed getting some work done sitting in the sun. Although because it is still October, as soon as the sun set it got cold fast.

Today's video share is a robot company retiring one version of their robot as a new model comes out. Not only do I think this is a really cool video and a cool way to do that, I also think it's a great way to help us reflect on our views of robots and maybe even AI — because I did feel some emotions as I watched it. I know these are just batteries and metal and circuits, and yet seeing something with so much human form and so much "human" in quotes still tugged at my heart. A surprise appearance by someone who is very associated with robots in the movies adds a fun little twist as well.
