All men of all nations know by the testimony of the Law of God written in their hearts that they have offered God and that God must be reconciled before they can find peace and happiness. Man in his blindness bowed down before wood and stone with sacrificial offerings of many kinds sought to appease the wrath of his imaginary gods. The world is groping after that which only Jesus Christ can give, peace with God. Therefore Jesus may well be designated "the Desire of all nations."

With the festival of Christmas approaching, we have many personal desires; there are many things we want to do and enjoy. But are chief desire must be to know Jesus and His salvation in an ever-increasing measure, so that our hearts and lives may be filled with true peace and joy now and always.

Christian friends, No holiday or human can deliver what we long for, but we can find it in Christ Himself. This Christmas watch your expectations, and see them wonderfully fulfilled in Jesus.

Come, Thou long-expected Jesus,
Born to set Thy people free;
From our fears and sins release us;
Let us find our rest in Thee.
Israel's Strength and Consolation,
Hope of all the earth Thou art,
Dear Desire of every nation,
Joy of every longing heart.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY- To find joy at Christmas, look to Jesus.
