When the Holy Scripture speaks of God's position as Father, it is not primarily thinking of God as Creator. God is the Father to all creation, since all life flows from Him. More importantly, God is the Father in His unique relationship with His Son, the One who was with God forever and became man, Jesus Christ, our Brother, in order to make us members of God's family.

Christian friends,  outside of Christ we have no right to speak of God as Father. But trusting in Jesus Christ to give us life, hope and peace, we can in His name go to the Father with courage, knowing that our prayers are heard for the sake of Jesus, who by His life and death became our Redeemer. The Son has indeed revealed the Father to us.
