Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!

"He that winneth souls is wise."

Our greatest business on earth as Christians is the building of the Kingdom of  God. There is no more important work on earth. Every Christian is to consider himself in partnership with the LORD Jesus Christ in building this kingdom. St. Paul calls himself a co-worker with Christ. We are all appointed as stewards of our LORD. We have been entrusted with certain capacities of mind and earthly possessions which we are now to employ according to the LORD'S will. It is not within our power to decide whether we want to be stewards or not. We will either be faithful or unfaithful stewards.

In view of Him who had purchased us as His possession; in view of the glory of the promised reward, we should strive to be found faithful in our stewardship. "You are not your own, you are bought with a price." Christians who have accepted their redemption in Christ do not belong to themselves, they belong to Christ.

Christian friends, Our whole life is now under the guidance of a LORD who has bought us. Our life is steadily moving towards Him; and with Him we are doing the greatest work on earth. We are building a cathedral whose spires reach into glory.

Give me a passion for souls, dear LORD,
A passion to save the lost;
O that Thy love were by all adored
And welcomed at any cost.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY - When we open our heart to the LORD, He opens our eyes to the lost.
