There are some who seek to be Christians by reason of their own strength. They rarely pray or read God's Word. They think it unnecessary to worship frequently in God's house. No man is sufficiently strong of mind and will to live the Christian life without the help that God provides. The forces of evil are attacking us from every side. Even as you read this the devil is working on you. In the battle against these odds even the bravest of men need weapons. Because of this: "Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God." "THE SHIELD OF FAITH"
Christian friends, As you mediate on these truths of God's Word and rely on the Holy Spirit, you can know the difference between what is truly satisfying and what only appears to be. Don't let the great impostor fool you.
The devil is subtle, deceptive, and sly,
He cleverly tricks us to swallow his lie;
But his cunning methods we're sure to discern
By making God's warning our daily concern.
