Here's what's new on the Cybersalt Site each day.

Sunday greetings, everyone.

360 degrees of FA 18F Super HornetI am returning to my former church today to lead a memorial service for a lady who passed away back in November 2020. I am finding that the time delay is casting a very different perspective for my feelings as I prepare to speak. I am still sad she is gone, but the absence of the shock of recent loss is putting her long begun eternal life with Jesus in a less complicated light.

One of the painful parts of losing a loved one is that we know they get over their leaving so much faster than we who are left behind. Of course we want them to be happy where they are, but that is hard to fully embrace and rest in when we are so still so overwhelmingly sad. It's a conundrum that results from Jesus wiping away their tears so much quicker than our own. For those of us left in this world, we must suffer waiting for time to diminish some of our grief.

Today's video share will remind you of the time you flew that F/A-18F Super Hornet. You don't remember that? Well, watch this 360 degree video (look around by dragging your mouse on it) and I'm sure it will all come back to you!

Oh look, Chicken Thursday - and happy 76th birthday to my dad!

Changes to British Royal Titles Since the Death of Queen Elizabeth IIGrandma Cybersalt and I set an alarm to wake us up at 2:50am on Monday to watch the Queen's funeral. We both thought the music was beautiful. The Bible passages and truths proclaimed were powerful. I am grateful that so many millions of people could hear those words of hope of forgiveness and eternal live found in Jesus alone.

Today's video share takes a look at the "Changes to British Royal Titles Since the Death of Queen Elizabeth II." It's interesting look into the UK's constitutional monarchy.

Sunday greetings, everyone.

I am lining this mailing up late on Saturday night after returning from a full evening of racing on the last ever race night at our local speedway. Me, my son-in-law, Josh and 3 of my young grandchildren had a memorable evening - both for the racing and also what it's like to take 3 children to the races for 7 hours, lol.

And that is why the news is very brief today!

Oh look, Chicken Thursday!

We flooded a forestThis week I received an email from our denomination's head office letting me know I am no longer licensed to perform weddings. I knew this was coming because it's their policy for any pastors who are no longer pastoring a local church. However, I am still allowed to perform at weddings so if you know of someone who is getting married and would like to have my interpretive dance about Samson's relationship with Delilah at their reception, please have them contact me!

Today's video share is a really interesting look at some work that is being done to restore some wetlands along part of the Danube river.

Sunday greetings, everyone.

jumping robot recordThe local speedway I raced at as the "Pastor of Disaster" is closing in a week. Last night was the last night for the class of racing I enjoyed driving the most - demo trucks.

I actually was not able to attend because I left it too late to buy tickets and the event was sold out. Fortunately, they did live stream the event on Facebook so I was able to watch from home. Even thought I wish I could be there, I didn't mind being home immediately after it was over instead of having to wait an hour to get out of the parking lot!

Today's video share is of a pretty cool bike design that serves no purpose other than the fun of making it - or watching it being made.
