Cybersalt News

Here's what's new on the Cybersalt Site each day.

Sunday Greetings everyone and welcome back to May!

Briquettes Made From Coconut Waste Could Reduce DeforestationI have a fun item on my agenda today! After church I am driving up island to take in a model railroad show with my son. We have talked about maybe building a garden railroad on his property someday, but for now we'll be enjoying what others have done with the hobby.

Today's video share is last Sunday's video share since I forgot to update the link. Thanks to Gary C. for pointing that out! It is still another inspiring story of someone overcoming the obstacles of the circumstance of their lives. "Briquettes Made From Coconut Waste Could Reduce Deforestation" moves me to be more grateful and do more with the plenty that I have.

Oh look, Chicken Thursday!

matt shannon photographyWow - I am swamped at Cybersalt World Headquarters! Seriously, I am happy to keep one nostril above the surface of all management that is going on right now. I'm not ungrateful - I'm just grunting to make it easier to lift a heavy load. I'm praying too and would appreciate your prayers for me too.

Today's video share is the first video of a new YouTube channel being started by a friend of our family. Matt Shannon is a gifted photographer and if you are into that, or interested in seeing some great pictures and video from our part of the world, definitely check him out and subscribe!

Sunday Greetings everyone!

Briquettes Made From Coconut Waste Could Reduce DeforestationIt's a busy weekend here at Cybersalt World Headquarters with a number of good things happening. Our eldest is home for 2 weeks, we celebrated one of our grandsons' 3rd birthday, we just learned a family of 6 (relatives) are coming for a spur of the moment visit this week, my speaking session went well yesterday (was up at 5am to take part in the online conference), and I am grateful to be feeling better as I leave the flu I had in my rear view mirror. And that is just some of what is going on!

Esther 30thYesterday was a milestone birthday for Esther, our youngest. She turned 30. That, of course means that Grandma Cybersalt and I have no children under the age of 30 now!

In other news, this weekend I will be one of the speakers at Joomla Day 2022. Joomla is one of the products I use for building websites for myself and Cybersalt clients. One has to buy a ticket to watch the conference sessions, but just in case anyone is interested, here is the link to my session.

Today's video share is an engineer's view of the train trip on the Brienz Rothorn Railway. I've mentioned before that I am a railfan. Sometimes I like to play one of these "in cab" videos on one computer screen while I work on another.

Easter Sunday Greetings everyone - the Lord is risen!

Christ is risen He is risen indeedA friend of ours shared an original poem for Easter on her Facebook page, yesterday, and I got permission to share it here as today's illustration below. Thanks Susan Page!

Today's video share is a song that celebrates what we celebrate especially today - Christ is Risen, He is Risen Indeed!
